To make a short definition of our topic, Dark Tourism is a peculiar tourism made by a few amount of people that is characterized in visiting places that are usually not visited that often because they are connected, in one way or another, to death, to some tragedy or have a terrifying vibe.

When Florencia suggested this topic for the blog, I found it very funny that, even though she alone knew about Dark Tourism, without hesitation we accepted the idea and immediately felt a curiosity to know more about it. I am really thankful of having a really open-minded group that were cool about embracing such a different , unknown and intriguing topic.
When we arrived at the multimedia lab, the first thing we did was look for more information, more videos, more photos, since it is something that catches our attention because it is not so common. And that is exactly my connection to the topic; that restless curiosity to know more about an unknown topic until becoming an expert, to learn more about a topic that does not usually appear so easily in the news, television programs and the internet and that is really spine-chilling. Dark Tourism gives me the opportunity to play with my imagination and make up events or situations that may have happened in those places to reach that state of fear and terror.
